  • Promoting local and responsible production.
  • Favoring Quebec and regional suppliers for festival product purchases. 
  • Prioritize exhibitors offering products sourced or processed in Quebec.
  • uEfficient waste management and reduction of waste.
  • Recycling stations and waste garbage cans in each zone for proper sorting of waste and residual materials. 
  • Donation of excess food to partner organizations in keeping with our mission. 
  • Donation of cans used during the festival to partner organizations. 
  • Complete elimination of the sale and use of single-use plastic bottles and glasses by offering free water throughout the event. 
  • Recovering used cooking oil by working with specialized oil recyclers. 
  • Disposal of non-recyclable and non-compostable containers. 
  • Encourage the use of public transportation by providing information on available routes and working with our transportation partners. 
  • Reuse and rental of equipment used during the event. 
  • Elimination of the official printed program and 4-page flyer in favor of digital versions.
  • Use of FSC-certified paper made from recycled materials for paper needs. 
  • Sustainable transportation and reduction of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. 
  • Offering a shuttle service throughout the event.  
  • Use of electric transportation on the event site.  

Our Objectives

Promoting local and responsible production.

Achieve a target of 75% of food products offered coming from Quebec.

Efficient waste management and reduction of waste:

Enhance the sorting platform by adding compost to reduce residual materials. 

Achieve a 75% recycling rate. 

Sustainable transportation, reducing and offsetting greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.

Reduce the use of 500 cars thanks to our shuttle service and aim to have at least 1,000 festival-goers using public transit.

Aiming for 2,000 festival-goers to get to the festival by foot.
